These lessons will be aimed at improvers and more advanced players
The lessons will be a guide to three of the more complex embellishments of the tin whistle; namely the roll (an X-note / tap combination), the cran (a complex X-note embellishment associated with the uilleann pipe tradition), and triplets (triple note embellishments that can often take the place of longer notes and/or two-note combinations)
The intention is to have general lessons on the principle behind each style of ornamentation, and some specific lessons on the individual note combinations that suit each embellishment.
Given that this section is aimed at more advanced players, and the scope for lessons is limitless, the content of this section will be guided by request. Therefore, kindly make your requests out to [email protected] if you want to hear anything specific.
If anyone has any ideas for lessons for this section, please let me know in the Contact section.
